Interior Dept. takes steps to increase voter registration in Indigenous communities
The Department of the Interior announced on Thursday, March 24 that it is working with states to formally designate the Department-operated post-secondary Tribal institutions – Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas and the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI) in New Mexico – as voter registration agencies under the National Voter Registration Act.

EBCI selects Remember the Removal Riders for 2019 event

The Cherokee Braves fell to the Towns County (Ga.) Indians by a score of 66-18 and the White County (Ga.) Warriors 52-18 in the tri-team duals on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Towns County High School.
