Beloved Women Committee debated by Tribal Council
A large portion of the Tribal Council session that was held on Thursday, March 2 was spent discussing a resolution put forward by the Cherokee Beloved Women Committee.
Blankenship to join Dogwood Health Trust
Cory Blankenship, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and current Secretary of the Treasury, will exit his appointed position to join Dogwood Health Trust as the Community Investment Officer in April 2023.

The Cherokee Lady Braves (19-4) spread the ball around well as they advanced to the finals of the Big Smoky Mountain Conference with a 77-46 win over Rosman (14-10) on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at the Charles George Memorial Arena.
