BASKETBALL: Lady Braves ground Lady Rockets; Braves hurt by shooting percentage
The Cherokee Lady Braves (6-1) defeated the A.C. Reynolds Lady Rockets 66-41 at Charles George Arena on Thursday, Dec. 12. The Braves (3-4) fell to the Rockets 87-64 after shooting only 35 percent from the field.
WRESTLING: Cherokee at Rosman
Cherokee’s varsity and middle school wrestling teams traveled to Rosman on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
BASKETBALL: Cherokee dominates Bobcats
The Cherokee varsity basketball teams dominated the Blue Ridge Bobcats at Charles George Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The Lady Braves improved to 5-1 on the season with a 77-16 win, and the Braves went to 3-3 on the season with a 79-51 win.
