Rangers respond to Little River fatality
Great Smoky Mountains National Park rangers responded to a report of a body in Little River approximately 1-mile west of Metcalf Bottoms at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9.

Big Y big winner at EBCI Community Awards

The Cherokee JV Braves (0-2) lost to the Robbinsville Black Knights (3-0) by a score of 26-6 on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at the Big Oaks Stadium in Robbinsville.
FOOTBALL: Warriors edge the Braves in final minute
The 2015 Battle of the Nations between the Cherokee Braves and the Choctaw Warriors concluded in dramatic fashion as the Warriors slightly edged the Braves 21-20 in a game that would be decided in the final seconds of regulation.
