Four-year terms for our elected officials are the best solutions for the long-term health of our Tribe (please see last week’s commentary), but it should be done in conjunction with two other missing tenants in our law.

We should not be afraid of any virus when Jesus resides within our hearts. God is still God. He is to be everything to us. He knows every language. God is a “whole” God, and He is our Creator. He already knows each of us inside and out and nothing can be hidden from Him.

BASKETBALL: Teesateskie, Tisho named first team All-District
Tori Teesateskie, a junior at Cherokee High School, and Shay Tisho, a senior at Smoky Mountain, both EBCI tribal members, have been named to the All-District 12 first team (western North Carolina) by the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association.
BASKETBALL: Three Cherokee players, other tribal members on All-Star roster
Three players from Cherokee High School and three other EBCI tribal members at other schools will participate in the annual Blue-White All-Star Game on Saturday, March 17 at 6pm at Enka High School.
