James Leonard (Blue Jay) Sequoyah Sr, 83, a lifelong resident of the Yellowhill Community, was called home to be with our Lord on June 8, 2019 to join his beloved wife, Alice, of 54 years.

Martha JoAnn Marr Smith, 77, of the Shephard’s Creek Community, took her heavenly flight to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Friday, June 7, 2019 after a courageous year’s long battle with lung cancer.

Paul Squirrell, 83, of Cherokee, passed away peacefully, following a period of declining health, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 with his family and friends by his side.  He had resided at the Tsali Care Center during the final days of his life.

Carl Johnson Nations, 91, of the Ela Community, passed on May 30, 2019. 

Clara “Mama Sue” Dills, 92, of Webster, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family, Monday May 27, 2019. A native of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Amanda Holderman.

Doug Mathews, 74, of the Towstring Community, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
