The Cherokee Lady Braves (16-0) fought through adversity in a daunting road environment to win against the Franklin Panthers on Wednesday, Jan. 21 as the Lady Braves topped the Lady panthers 62-55.

The Cherokee Braves (17-0) traveled to “The Pit” for a contest against the Franklin Panthers on Wednesday, Jan. 21.

The Cherokee Middle School Braves and Lady Braves are going to the Smoky Mountain Conference championship at the Robbinsville High School Gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 22.

Several weeks ago, the McDonalds All-American Game nominations were announced, and not one player from western North Carolina made the list.
