Early voting will open on Oct. 23 and conclude on Nov. 1. Oct. 28 is the last day you will be able to request an absentee ballot for the general election (ncvoterguide.org). Election day is Nov. 4.

Brooke Coggins, a Swain County High School senior and EBCI tribal member, signed a letter of commitment on Thursday, May 3 to play softball next season at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
