N.C. Courts move court cases due to Coronavirus
Late Friday morning, Friday, March 13, North Carolina Chief Justice Cheri Beasley ordered that most district and superior court cases be continued for at least 30 days starting on Monday, March 16.
Museum of the Cherokee Indian to remain open; events cancelled
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread across the United States, the Museum of the Cherokee Indian has indicated it will remain open.
Tribal Court Docket for March 13
This is a criminal docket date for the Cherokee Tribal Court. All of the defendants listed have only been charged with the crimes/offenses listed and should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Cherokee Historical to feature scary attractions
The Cherokee Historical Association (CHA) will be the scariest place on the reservation…at least for the next month. From blood-soaked zombies to real-life ghost stories, the Cherokee Historical Cultural Campus will be a site of many screams in October.

Little League sign-ups underway
Little League signups. Sign-ups for Little League are currently underway and will end on Saturday, Feb. 2. Baseball (7-8, 9-10, 11-12) and Softball (7-8, 9-10, 11-12). Sign up at any Cherokee recreation center, and they are entering in a draft with Bryson City.
