Great Smoky Mountains National Park officials announced on Wednesday, Oct. 28 that Search and Rescue team members found missing hiker, Fred Braden, Jr. at approximately 4 p.m.

Avery Mintz is a Lady Brave this year, but next season she’ll be a Bear. The Cherokee senior signed a letter of intent on Wednesday, Nov. 13 to play basketball on a full scholarship next year for Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory.
