Jordan Collins gained 160 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns to lead the Andrews Wildcats to a 20-14 victory over the Braves on Friday, Oct. 29 at Ray Kinsland Stadium.

The Cherokee High School Cross Country teams participated in the 1A Regional meet in Hendersonville on Saturday, Oct. 30. Neither team cracked the top four to qualify for the State Meet according to results from nc.preptrack.com.

Cherokee RB Dorian Walkingstick continued his ground assault Friday, Oct. 22 against Rosman gaining 211 yards on 25 carries and scoring four times. His performance wasn’t enough to garner a win against the Tigers who gained 435 total yards on offense. Cherokee fell to 3-6 on the year with a 43-39 loss to the Tigers (3-7).
