The Lady Braves (2-0) were impressive in their first home game which ended in a 76-27 rout of the Andrews Lady Wildcats on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The Cherokee Fitness Complex, located inside the Ginger Lynn Welch Complex on Acquoni Road, is currently in the midst of a major overhaul to renovate the venue with new and improved fitness equipment.

The Cherokee Braves (1-0) got their 2014-15 campaign going in good fashion as they traveled to Blue Ridge on Friday, Dec. 5 and demolished the Bobcats 77-37.

A total of sixty-three runners competed in the Cherokee Turkey Strut 5K on Saturday, Nov. 22.

It was a tough loss for the Braves, who traveled to North Mecklenburg High School for the 1st round of the NCHSAA playoffs against the hosting Pine Lake Prep Pride who topped Cherokee 38-21 on Friday, Nov. 14.
