Former Chief Hicks added to Dogwood Health Trust Board
Dogwood Health Trust (“Dogwood”), a recently formed North Carolina nonprofit, private non-operating foundation, announced on Thursday, Aug. 23 additions to its initial Board of Directors which includes former Principal Chief Michell Hicks, CPA. Dogwood Health Trust will become operational only if the contemplated transaction between HCA Healthcare and Mission Health is finalized.

New Wolftown Community Building opens officially
The day after Birdtown residents cut the ribbon on their new community building, members of the Wolftown Community got to do the same. Wolftown’s new facility, a 3,200 square foot building with an open floor plan, two restrooms, and a kitchen, opened officially as Dwayne “Tuff” Jackson, Wolftown Community Club chairman, cut the ribbon on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 23.
