Billie Francis Etchison, 81, of Whittier, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Iredell County, he was the son of the late Jay Will and Blonzie Owens Etchison. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Virginia S. Etchison; three daughters, Cheryl Lossiah of Whittier, Tina Tubby of Philadelphia, Miss., Joanna Austin of Candler; son Jeff Etchison of Stanley, NC; nine grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3-5pm on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Crisp Funeral Home.
