Sue Ellen Littlejohn – obituary

Sue Ellen Littlejohn, 74, of Cherokee, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 following an extended illness.  She was residing at the Tasli Care Center but was a resident of the Painttown Community in Cherokee.

She was the daughter of the late George and Bessie (George) Littlejohn and was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.  Sue was a homemaker, but made her way through life by basket weaving.  She was loved and will be missed by those that knew her.

Surviving are daughter Paulette Rae (Littlejohn) Taukchiray and husband Wesley; significant other, Mitchell Taylor; special friends, Lebreska Lowery and her son Kaiscent Lowery, Reva Toineeta, Mary Kazhe and Judy Maney.

A visitation will be held for Sue at the Rock Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 18 running from 5pm – 12midnight.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 2pm with Pastors Greg Morgan and Denny Crowe and Rev. James “Bo” Parris officiating.  An immediate burial will take place near the old home in Littlejohn Cemetery on Tooni Branch Rd.
