Missing beloved pet
Gizzy, a male Chihuahua mix, went missing from the upper Wrights Creek Fork area this past week. He does not have a collar on. If you see him or have any information on where he might be, please call Nonnie Crowe 497-7990. He is really missed.

WRESTLING: Cherokee competes in Mitchell Duals
Cherokee’s varsity wrestling team competed in the Mitchell Duals tournament on Dec. 20-21, 2012. Overall, the team went 2-7, but two wrestlers received medals including Levi Swearengin who went 9-0 on the tournament and made the All-Tournament team.

Little League sign-ups underway
Little League signups. Sign-ups for Little League are currently underway and will end on Saturday, Feb. 2. Baseball (7-8, 9-10, 11-12) and Softball (7-8, 9-10, 11-12). Sign up at any Cherokee recreation center, and they are entering in a draft with Bryson City.
