Tribe’s Syringe Services Program open twice a week during quarantine
With many tribal programs of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) closed due to quarantine orders relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the EBCI Syringe Services Program is opening twice a week to aid their clients.

The Smoky Mountain Conference Championship track and field meet was held at Western Carolina University on Wednesday, April 24. Murphy took both the men’s and women’s team championships. Cherokee’s men’s team took seventh place and the women’s team took sixth place.
