Designed to raise awareness of the importance of oral health and collect oral care products for at-risk children, the America’s ToothFairy Smile Drive will be held through Friday, March 6 in Cherokee and Kristina Hyatt,  a dental hygienist with Cherokee Children’s Dental Program, will lead campaign activities in Cherokee.

Local community members are invited to visit EBCI Public Health and Human Services, Cherokee Dental Clinic, or Cherokee Youth Center to drop off donated oral care products. Donated toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and rinse will be delivered to Cherokee Children’s Home, Cherokee and Snowbird Youth Centers, and other various non-profit children’s programs throughout western North Carolina which will distribute them to local at-risk children.

Community members donating to the America’s ToothFairy Smile Drive are encouraged to share their experience by snapping a photo and using the hashtag #SmileDrive2015 on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
