Tribal health officials urge contact tracing participation
According to health officials with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI), each person testing positive for COVID-19 has had contact with 3 to 20 other people – known as direct contacts.

The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) and Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority identified three (3) Qualla Boundary residents on Thursday, Oct. 15 who tested positive for COVID-19.
