Cherokee Tribal Bingo has been closed for almost a year now due to COVID-19, and officials state it will remain closed through at least the end of June.

The Cherokee Nation Supreme Court ruled on Monday, Feb. 22 in a unanimous decision that the language “by blood” is void, and should be removed from Cherokee Nation’s tribal laws, including provisions within the Cherokee Nation Constitution, according to the opinion.
