The Lady Braves (22-3) were the runner-up in this past week’s Big Smoky Mountain Conference tournament following a tough 55-49 loss to Hayesville in the finals on Friday, Feb. 21.

The Cherokee Braves (15-10) were the runner-up in this past week’s Big Smoky Mountain Conference tournament held at Swain County High School. After defeating Andrews 51-45 in the semi-finals, the Braves ran into shooting issues in the finals against Robbinsville on Friday, Feb. 20 losing 66-52.
