Eligible Medicaid members will begin to receive letters on Monday, March 15 from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) notifying Medicaid beneficiaries of open enrollment which will now include the EBCI (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians) Tribal Option.

GOLF: PGA Pro-Am held at Sequoyah National
PGA professionals and golf amateurs from all over the Carolinas converged on The Sequoyah National Golf Club on Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15 for the National Car Rental PGA Pro-Am Series golf tournament. The tournament attracted 33 PGA professionals and 99 amateur golfers to compete in the two-day event.

Albin Rex Gwaltney – obituary
Albin Rex Gwaltney passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2019 at the age of 64. Diagnosed with cancer, he battled it for nearly four months. Monday night he was admitted into Cherokee Indian Hospital and passed Tuesday around 6:30 p.m.
