Interior Dept. seeks nominations for Committee on Reconciliation in Place Names
The Department of the Interior announced recently that it is seeking nominations for members of the new Advisory Committee on Reconciliation in Place Names. The committee will identify geographic names and federal land unit names that are considered derogatory and solicit proposals on replacement names.

Arkansas accepted to Yale, Stanford
Nolan Arkansas, an EBCI tribal member and senior at Cherokee High School, has been accepted to two of the most prestigious universities in the country. Now, he just has to decide whether to attend Yale University in New Haven, Conn. or Stanford University in California.
Tribal members attend AISES Leadership Summit
