COMMENTARY: Against legalization of adult-use marijuana on tribal lands
The recent notification that tribal leadership is considering the legalization of recreational (adult) use of marijuana on tribal lands via a referendum vote is extremely troubling. COMMENTARY: Speak out against stigma
Have you ever wondered why a reluctance to seek help or treatment exists? Could it be that due to a lack of understanding by family, friends, co-workers, or community members?
COMMENTARY: Give the Ceremonial Grounds back to the community
I think we need to fast-track the development and implementation of a construction plan for our Ceremonial Grounds and our government needs to come to terms as to what the community wants it to be, and the community’s answer may not be “we want it to generate dollars”. Because soon, we won’t be able to see the fairgrounds for the grass.
