Mildred Fisher Cloer – obituary

BRYSON CITY – Mildred Fisher Cloer, 72, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in a Buncombe County Hospital. A native of Jackson County and lifelong resident of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Mills Fisher. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She is survived by five daughters, Angie Watkins of Bryson City, Mona Green Smith of Cherokee, Evonda Hamilton and husband Craig of Bryson City, Dana A. Lambert and husband Tommy of Cherokee, Dee Wood of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Evans of Waynesville, NC; three brothers, Lewis Fisher of Sylva, Burlin Fisher of CA, and Jerry Fisher of Cullowhee.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2010 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Ed Kilgore will officiate.
