Cooper selected to N.C. Boxing Authority

BASKETBALL: Toineeta signs with Lenoir-Rhyne
CHS senior Kendall Toineeta signed a letter of intent on Wednesday, Nov. 12 to play college basketball at Lenoir-Rhyne.
FOOTBALL: Mintz nets 167 total yards in back-up status
Tye Mintz, filling in at quarterback for an injured Brandon Buchanan, netted a total of 167 yards on Friday, Nov. 7 as the Braves (3-8) traveled to Robbinsville to take on the undefeated Robbinsville Black Knights (11-0).
FOOTBALL: Pee Wee Braves runner-up in Cracker Bowl
What a difference a week makes! The 2014 Cracker Bowl, postponed from last weekend due to snow and ice, was played on a beautiful, sunny day at Ray Kinsland Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 8.
GOLF: Two Lady Braves compete at State
The Lady Braves Golf team made school history at Cherokee High School by sending two members to the NCHSAA State Finals on Oct. 27 and 28.
