The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) Public Health and Human Services Division (PHHS) and the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority (CIHA) confirmed on the afternoon of Monday, June 22 the first COVID-19 associated death of an EBCI tribal member.
