Long appeals to Cherokee Supreme Court
At just after 10 am on Friday, Feb. 10, the Cherokee Supreme Court convened to hear an appeal in the case of Benjamin Cody Long.

Willis Tullos, Braves head basketball coach, won his 600th career game on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Franklin as Cherokee edged a scrappy Franklin squad 84-78. That is a monumental achievement.
BASKETBALL: Franklin edges Cherokee in hard fought game
The Cherokee Lady Braves (12-4) lost a hard fought game to the Franklin Lady Panthers (9-5) on Saturday, Jan. 16 by three points (55-52).
BASKETBALL: Coach Tullos gets 600th career win
The Cherokee Braves (13-3) fought and scrapped the entire game as they topped Franklin (2-12) by a score of 84-78 to give their beloved coach a milestone win.
