No-shows having “significant impact” on Cherokee Indian Hospital
Patients not showing up for their appointments within the health system of the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority (CIHA) is becoming an increasingly larger problem.
Election Ordinance Work Session presents shortened election cycle
On the afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 7, Dinilawigi (Tribal Council) held a work session for Election Ord. No. 52, which was tabled. In the work session, the Election Board proposed several changes to the code, including shortening the overall election cycle.
Cannabis sales for all adults (21+up) to start on Qualla Boundary next month
All adults 21-years-old and up will soon be able to purchase cannabis products on the Qualla Boundary.
