Kasey Lynn Maney, 20, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 at her home. She is the daughter of Katina Ledford and Gary Maney.

Jonas Feather, 36, of Cherokee, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Asheville on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019. Jonas was born in Cherokee; however, he had made Asheville his residence for the last eight years.

Born in Cherokee, North Carolina, Raymond began playing the banjo at the age of 18.

Donald “Lucky Duck” Edward Rose, 87, was born April 22, 1932 in Cherokee and passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at his home in Swain County following a period of declining health.
