Council approves TCGE funding request for fourth tower, convention center
In the near future, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort will have a fourth hotel tower with expanded convention center space and parking garage.

In a Special Session, that was a reconvening of the July Session, on Thursday, July 27, Tribal Council voted 57-43 to hold the Special Election.
Resolution submitted to demolish old high school
Tribal Council will consider a resolution during its upcoming regular session on Thursday, Aug. 3 that calls for the demolition of the old Cherokee High School building located on Acquoni Road.
