Leo James receives 30-Year Tenure award at national convention

 

     Pizza Inn, Inc. (NASDAQ:PZZI) recently hosted its 2011 National Franchise Convention in Tunica, Miss., where franchisee Leo James, owner of the Pizza Inn Cherokee location, was recognized for his contributions to the company.

     James received the 30-year tenure recognition award for his longstanding record with Pizza Inn and the Cherokee community.

     “Leo is an incredible asset to our company,” said Charlie Morrison, president and CEO of Pizza Inn. “He’s spent the last 30 years as a hands-on operator, serving the community of Cherokee, and we are proud to call him a Pizza Inn franchise.”

     Pizza Inn of Cherokee is located at 920 Tsalagi Rd., and open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.  

     The three-day event was held April 10-12, and featured an awards ceremony, presentations, breakout and educational sessions for franchisees.
