Kathy Conseen, 43, of Cherokee, passed away September 23, 2010 at Cherokee Indian Hospital after an extended illness. She had been employed as a health provider and had lived in Waynesville until she became ill.
She is survived by her mother, Ruby George, grandmother, Juanita George, and daughter Skye Ann Arrington, all of Cherokee; brothers, James Richard Conseen, Jimmy Miller, both of Waynesville, and Lee Culler, of Cherokee. She is also survived by her aunts, Peggy George, Carol George, Joyce Dugan, and Catherine Lambert, all of Cherokee; uncle, Harold George of Clayton, Ga.; special sister-in-law, Christine Conseen; two nieces and one nephew; and special friend Desie Ammons; as well as many special relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Arrington; father, James Conseen ; and grandfather, Columbus George.
The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Ruby George, from 5-9pm on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, Sept. 25 at Rock Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Morgan and the Rev. Bo Parris officiating.
