The Cherokee Middle School wrestling team went 1-1 on the week as they defeated Hayesville 60-30 on Wednesday, Jan. 20 and then lost to Robbinsville 54-24 the next day.

The Robbinsville Black Knights varsity wrestling team defeated the Cherokee Braves 46-25 on Thursday, Jan. 21.

The still-undefeated Cherokee Lady Braves won three games this past week, but somehow managed to fall one spot to #10 in the Freeman Rankings of NC 1-A schools as of Sunday.

The Cherokee Braves went 2-1 on the week beating Andrews and Blue Ridge before falling to Highlands on Saturday night.

The Cherokee Middle School wrestling team traveled to Rosman on Wednesday, Jan. 13 and came back with a resounding 70-3 win over the Tigers.

The Cherokee Lady Braves continued their undefeated season on Monday, Jan. 11 as they beat the Enka Lady Jets 65-50.
