The Cherokee Braves (7-9) and the Lady Braves (14-2) both topped 90pts in wins at Rosman on Friday, Jan. 17. The Braves won 95-76, and the Lady Braves won big over the Lady Tigers 92-52.

The Cherokee Wrestling team added another notch to the win column on Thursday, Jan. 16 as they beat the visiting Hayesville Yellow Jackets by a team score of 42-24. The Braves continue building momentum with their second team victory of the week as the 2013-14 season winds down and heads into post season action.

In what would go down as an impressive team performance, the Cherokee Braves Wrestling Team was triumphant over the Andrews Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 14 by a team score of 54-12. The Braves racked up a total of six pin falls on the night to help cement the victory.

The Cherokee Lady Braves (13-2) won by 10 at Robbinsville on Tuesday, Jan. 14 while the Braves (6-9) lost a squeaker by three points.

The Cherokee Lady Braves (12-2) and the Braves (6-8) both had big wins at home over Murphy on Friday, Jan. 10.

The Cherokee High School varsity wrestling team took seventh place at the Arrowhead Classic wrestling tournament held at Stephens County High School in Toccoa, Ga. on Dec. 29, 2013.

The Cherokee Lady Braves (9-1) defeated the Robbinsville Lady Black Knights 78-58 to win the Holidays on the Hardwood Tournament at the Charles George Arena on Monday, Dec. 30. Cherokee led by as many as 40pts in the second half.
