The Lady Braves (4-0) remained unbeaten as they took it to the Highlands Lady Highlanders at home on Friday, Dec. 12.

Cherokee (2-0) came close to doubling the scoring output of their opponent during their first home game of the season on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The Cherokee varsity wrestling team participated in the King of the Mountain Tournament in Georgia on Dec. 5-6.

The Cherokee Fitness Complex, located inside the Ginger Lynn Welch Complex on Acquoni Road, is currently in the midst of a major overhaul to renovate the venue with new and improved fitness equipment.

Darius Lambert, a member of the Cherokee Middle School cross country team, has qualified to compete in the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13.

The Cherokee Lady Braves (1-0) opened their 2014-15 season and their quest for a fifth straight sectional championship in style – with a huge road victory.

The Cherokee Braves (1-0) got their 2014-15 campaign going in good fashion as they traveled to Blue Ridge on Friday, Dec. 5 and demolished the Bobcats 77-37.
