SOFTBALL: Lady Braves win season opener
It still feels like winter, but diamond sports have started! The Cherokee Lady Braves won their season opener at Andrews on Friday, March 8 by a score of 14-10.
BASKETBALL: Lady Braves lose to Bishop in Regional Final
For the third year in a row, seven-time defending state champions Bishop McGuinness (23-7) played the role of the villain and ended the Lady Braves season in the 1A Western Regional Final. Cherokee (27-3) lost 58-56 to the Lady Villains on Saturday, March 9 at the Fleming Arena at UNC-G.
