Crowe, Jackson to vie for Miss Cherokee title
Madison Crowe and Paige Jackson, both 2011 graduates of Cherokee High School and students at Mars Hill University, are vying for the title of Miss Cherokee 2013 at the pageant scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6pm at the Chief Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center.
Milholen sworn in as Magistrate
Mike Milholen was sworn in as a Contract Magistrate in Cherokee Tribal Court on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Cooperative Extension honors participants and volunteers
The participants in the Cooperative Extension program were recognized for their accomplishments at the Cooperative Extension Community Awards and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner held at the Cherokee Youth Center Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
