COMMENTARY: Woe the People
Representative government is a mixed blessing. While representative government represents, by definition, the people, it is impossible for a small body of elected officials to resolve or agree with every person or body of people that they represent.
SPEAKING OF FAITH: Lead us to the rock that is higher…
Read Exodus 33:11-23; Psalm 61:1-8; Proverbs 30:24-26.
COMMENTARY: Event planning in the COVID-19 universe
I would like to comment on our recent survey question about conducting public events during the resurgence of the coronavirus. COMMENTARY: My most unpopular commentaries

SPEAKING OF FAITH: It takes Holy Spirit boldness, courage, and confidence
Read Acts 4:23-31; Proverbs 21:2-3, Ephesians 3:12, Proverbs 28:1, Matthew 29:16.
COMMENTARY: Where the water ran
“That really hit close to home.” You hear that every time a tragedy strikes a person or a community. Maybe it is a family member. Maybe a next-door neighbor. It could be a metaphoric statement, saying that you relate to what folks are going through. In some cases, it is literal.
