COMMENTARY: My experience with gaslighting
A common technique of abusers, dictators, narcissists and cult leaders alike, “gaslighting” is an abuse tactic in which a person gains power by making a victim question reality. Abusers refuse responsibility for any wrongdoing and instead blame their victim. It is often difficult for victims to recognize the abuse.
COMMENTARY: Supports smoking ban for Cherokee casinos
In May, a group of enrolled EBCI (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians) members submitted an ordinance change to Tribal Council which will ban smoking on the gaming floors of Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort and Harrah’s Valley River Casino Resort.
