Josephine K. Calhoun, 68, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday, Aug. 7 and was a life-long resident of Cherokee.

Myron “Mike” Robert Ledford, 52, passed away July 14, 2019 at Cherokee Indian Hospital.

D. Charlene Bird-Stiles, 61, of Cherokee, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 5, 2019 at her residence.

Alice Mae (Wolfe) Forney, 67, of the Big Cove Community and resided in Sylva with her husband Marvin “Buster” Forney of 20 years, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5, 2019.

Jean Bradley Nickerson, age 76, of Huntsville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
