Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Catolster age 60 of Dry Branch who passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 , were conducted Saturday, May 14 at 1 o’clock in the New Seasons Worship Center in Dry Branch with Rev. Frankie Sorrow officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Catolster was a Native American born and raised on the Cherokee Indian Reservation in Cherokee, N.C. He was the son of the late Codaskie Spade Catolster and Lucinda Crowe Catolster and was predeceased by sister Phyllis Crowe Martinez, brother Richard “Yogi” Crowe and half-brother James Catolster. He was retired from the city of Macon, and was a member and Deacon of the new Seasons Worship Center.
Survivors include his wife Betty Ashley Catolster; daughters Waukesha Catolster of Dry Branch and Samantha Molina (Carlos) of Macon; sister Sally Sampson and brother Tim Catolster both of Cherokee, N.C. a granddaughter Israel Molina; a number of nieces and nephews and special nieces Angie Hull and Trish Garcia.
Pall Bearers were Marco Molina, Timothy Hull Jr., Timothy Hull Sr., Steven Catolster, John Thomas Ashley, and Jr. Ashley.
