Since our beginning in October 1998, we have rejoiced in great and small victories, with gladness and with sorrow. Cancer does not discriminate. Every race is affected and the need for support is great. The struggles are not only from chemotherapy, radiation and medications, but with everyday problems, job situations and family relationships. No amount of money can replace the human touch: a hug, a smile, a whisper in our ear saying, “I’m praying for you.” It lifts our spirits to fight for one another. We are here because of God’s grace and mercy, and through your prayers and thoughtfulness. We, the Cherokee Cancer Support Group thank individuals, various groups, and the Cherokee Braves Booster Club for your continued support.
