BOYS CLUB TO PARTICIPATE IN ANNUAL DAY OF CARING
Once again the Boys Club will help our neighbors by volunteering for the Cherokee Day of Caring to be held on May 16. The Cherokee Day of Caring is a community service event jointly sponsored by the Cherokee Preservation Foundation, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and the Office of the Principal Chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee. During this day-long event volunteers paint, clean and make repairs for one homeowner in each of our 10 Cherokee communities. These homeowners are nominated by their respective community clubs as being individuals who are in need of assistance.
