David Johnson Catt – obituary

David Johnson Catt, 67, of Cherokee, passed away on Sept.21, 2012 at his residence of 20 Dillard Rd. in Cherokee.

David was the husband of the late Mary (Tunnie) Littlejohn Catt and the son of the late Dave Wilbur Catt and Cornelia George Catt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Wright’s Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children; son, Jose O. Rodriguez and daughters; Mary Rodriguez Lambert and Michelle Rodriguez, all of Cherokee; two sisters, Bootie Catt and Frances Catt, both of Cherokee and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A visitation was held at the Wright’s Creek Baptist Church on Wright’s Creek Rd on Monday, Sept. 24 for the general public. David remained at the church through the night till the hour of on Tuesday with the Rev. Dan Lambert officiating. Pall Bearers were Johnny

Wildcatt, Joey Lambert, Mason White, Richie, Bottchenbaugh, Tyler Toineeta and Skyler Bottchenbaugh.  An immediate burial was held in the Leauna Crowe Littlejohn Cemetery on Bigwitch Rd.

Long House Funeral Home assisted  the family in the services.
