Arnulfo Luis Librado, Jr – Obituary

Arnulfo Luis Librado, Jr., known as “Arnie”, 24, of the Wolftown Community in Cherokee went home to be with the Heavenly Father above on Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.  He was a resident of the Tsali Care Center.  He was born on July 28, 1986.

 Arnie was a big Georgia Tech Fan.  He attended Cherokee Schools where he was a member of the ROTC.  He later attained a GED.  He loved all kinds of music.  He also enjoyed technology and electronics, especially his x-box and games.

 Arnie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Phillip Owle, Sr. and Geneva Queen Owle; paternal grandparents, Asuncion and Edjcnio Librado; paternal uncle, Pedro Librado of White Pine,TN; maternal great uncles, Jacob Queen, Bascom Queen, Howard “Cub” Calonaheskie, and Phillip Calonaheskie, all of Cherokee; maternal great aunts, Martha Bird Queen and Maggie W. Calonaheskie, all of Cherokee; maternal aunts, Carolyn George, Gaynell Owle, Lillie Jean Owle, Ella Mae Owle, Julie Owle, and Belinda Fay Owle, all of
Cherokee.

 Arnie is survived by his mother, Frances Owle Librado of Cherokee, and his father, Arnulfo Luis Librado, Sr. of White Pine TN; sister, Nicolasa Lucille Librado Cisneros, and brother, Simon Eligio Librado both of Cherokee.  He is also survived by a very special friend, Kina Queen, and special second mom, Paulette Woodard; aunts, Malinda Owle of Cherokee, and Nicolasa Librado of White Pine, TN; uncles, Phillip Owle, Jr. of Cherokee; Tomas Librado and wife, Hilarrce; Venincio Librado and wife, Juliana, all of Morristown, TN; and Pablo Librado and wife, Reina of Idaho.  He is also survived by great aunts, Naomi Queen Toineeta and husband, Josh, all of Cherokee; very special nephews, James Browning, Emilio Librado, and Ethan Cisneros Librado of Cherokee.

 The family received friends at the Cherokee Church of God on Wednesday, Dec. 15, and the funeral services were held on Thursday, Dec. 16, with the Rev. Betty Drake, Rev. Charles Griffin, and Rev. James “Bo” Parris officiating.

 Pall bearers were Jeff Bradley, Tim Mills, Josh Taylor, Rod Taylor, Tony Martinez, Kevin George, Emiliano Marcelino, Toma Librado, Vernacio Librado, and Alvaro Librado.

 Long House Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
