The Cherokee Middle School (CMS) track and field team opened its season at Hayesville on the afternoon of Monday, April 26 in a meet with Hayesville Middle School and Murphy Middle School. 

The Cherokee Braves varsity baseball team is looking forward to its upcoming season.  Having only lost several seniors last season, this year’s team is experienced and ready to gel.  

On the cold, windy day of Wednesday, April 21, the Cherokee High School (CHS) track was full of sprinters, distance runners, and throwers getting ready for a new season.

The Cherokee Lady Braves varsity softball team is building a team spirit and getting better with each outing.  

The Smoky Mountain Competition Cheer Club has continued to excel in wins over the past few weeks. The cheerleaders represent Jackson, Macon, Swain, Haywood counties in North and Rabun County Ga.  Participants range from 4-18 years of age, both boys and girls.

With a dominating performance at Andrews, the Cherokee Middle School Lady Braves finished their 2021 season undefeated and won the Smoky Mountain Conference championship.
