New Snowbird Youth Center officially opens
The Snowbird Youth Center was opened by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in 2002 – four years after the Tribe opened the Cherokee Youth Center Boys & Girls Club. For the first 12 years of its existence, the Snowbird Youth Center was housed in other programs, but now, it has a new home all its own.
Hep C: Silent, deadly, but treatable…and curable
Most cases of Hepatitis C (Hep C) are not reported. According to the CDC, an estimated 3.2 million people in the United States have the disease with many having no idea they are infected.
