Principal Chief’s Report on USET, Washington trip
Last week, I traveled with members of Tribal Council to attend the USET conference in Washington, DC.
“Widespread” flu affecting Cherokee community
Forty-eight (48) of the 50 states are experiencing “widespread” influenza (flu) activity for the week ending Saturday, Feb. 3 (the latest figures as of press time) according to the CDC.
Tribal Court Docket for Feb. 18
This is a criminal docket date for the Cherokee Tribal Court. All of the defendants listed have only been charged with the crimes/offenses listed and should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
