Allen Edward Reed, of the Wolftown Community, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. He shared the last 14 years of his life with his loving wife, Anita Reed.

Louise Paxton Ashe, 95 of Sylva, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. She was born on Sept. 23, 1927, in Swain County to the late William “Bill” and Myrtle Crisp Paxton.

Davis Welch, 78, of the Big Cove Community, passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 after an extended illness.

Lambert G. Wilson, 68, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord tragically on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022.

Regina Watty, age 54, of Cherokee, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at Mission Hospital.

Jon Tanoli Jessan George, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at Mission Hospital.

Harold Cecil Rogers Sr., 87, of St. Mary’s, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Ga.

Virginia Lee “Tommye” Bradley Saunooke, age 82, of Cherokee, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and dearest friends on the full Hunter’s Moon of Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022 in the Cherokee Indian Hospital.
